I. Standard background
Food contact materials and products (hereinafter referred to as food contact materials) are direct/indirect contact objects of food and food additives (hereinafter referred to as food). To protect human health, in recent years, China has gradually improved and formed a standard system for food contact materials, which is mainly composed of four parts: general standard (GB 4806.1), additive and product standard (GB 9685 and GB 4806 series), testing method (GB 31604 series and GB 5009 series) and general hygienic standard for production (GB 31603). Among them, the National Food Safety Standard General Hygiene Code for Food Contact Materials and Products Production (GB 31603-2015) is a good operation code for food contact materials. Starting from the production and management of food contact materials, it improves the quality control level of enterprises and ensures the quality and safety of products.
