When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
For drum or bulk enquiries, state tank connection, quantity per unloading operation and any previous-cargo record required.
Storage and handling
For odour- or colour-sensitive orders, agree sealed retention samples, drum materials and sampler cleanliness in advance.
Sample and order lead times
State receiving tank capacity or required drum size, trial quantity and destination. Ask for sample carriage, commercial MOQ, packaging charge, availability and expected warehouse delivery date.
Questions from the plant
Why does the esterification product show a different colour or odour?
Compare the reacted products under identical conditions and review tanker cleaning records.
Does the trade name “isooctyl alcohol” identify the substance unambiguously?
Obtain the SDS and confirm 2-ethylhexanol, CAS 104-76-7, before comparing assay and impurity profiles.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Alcohol purity, Moisture, color and carbonyl impurities.
