01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Heat aging of tires and belts

Fix the rubber and cure conditions. Compare tensile strength and elongation retention before and after thermal aging.

Cable rubber protection

Heat-age the actual jacket compound. Record color change, blooming and dispersion during processing.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Rubber Antioxidant TMQ (RD) catalogue and specifications ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Ethanol-insoluble matter % by mass ENVO published catalogue ≤0.20 Agree solvent, sample treatment and filtration method when ordering.
Loss on heating % by mass ENVO published specification ≤0.30 State the test conditions and use a sample that has not absorbed moisture.
Ash % by mass ENVO published specification ≤0.45 Check using the agreed ignition conditions.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Check the form supplied and protect the granules from compaction and breakage in storage and transport.

Storage and handling

Request the softening range and polymer composition. Keep heat-ageing controls for the trial and commercial lots.

Sample and order lead times

State the finished part, machine trial quantity and routine order size. Match trial and commercial grades and agree MOQ, load unit, lead-time start and arrival.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why do nominally equivalent grades retain different properties after heat ageing?

Compare dispersion during processing and heat-ageing retention after curing the same compound.

Why do similar-looking TMQ grades age differently?

Check how dimers, trimers and tetramers were measured. Run parallel heat-ageing trials on the same rubber.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check active polymer fraction, softening point, Volatiles.
