01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Washing oil-stained fabric

At the same grease soil and water quality, compare cleaning against an enzyme-free control.

Multi-enzyme detergents

Record enzyme activity and odor in fresh and stored formulations separately.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Review these properties for the intended application grade. Example figures refer to the cited grade or source. Confirm the offered specification, packaging and lead time in the quotation. Novonesis · Lipase and fatty soils ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Lipase activity Units/g by supplier method Agree for the grade and end use Specify the substrate and the definition of the activity unit.
Oil residue after washing Mass or reflectance Agree for the grade and end use Use test swatches from the same source and the same laundering procedure.
Activity retention during storage % Agree for the grade and end use Agree temperature, formulation and test intervals.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Distinguish liquid and granular grades. Check packaging, leak prevention and dust control against the SDS.

Storage and handling

Confirm remaining shelf life at arrival, supported storage temperature range and batch COA.

Sample and order lead times

Compare quotations by active matter, as-supplied net weight and packaging. State destination and receiving facilities and request MOQ, sample dispatch and commercial arrival dates.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why does lipase work on vegetable oil stains but poorly on mineral oil?

Group actual soils by whether they contain hydrolysable fats, then test each group.

Why can a high-activity raw liquid lose performance in the finished product?

Compare retained complete formulations from before and after the change under matched storage conditions.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Lipase activity, Oil residue after washing, Activity retention during storage.
