01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Wetting in textile pretreatment

Compare liquid uptake by the fabric over a set time and residue after rinsing.

Liquid detergents

At equal active matter and water quality, compare grease removal, clarity and low-temperature stability.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Use these properties to compare grades within the product family. Example figures refer to the cited grade or source. Confirm the offered specification, packaging and lead time in the quotation. NTJN AEO-9 · Fatty alcohol ethoxylate ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Average number of EO units mol/mol Agree for the grade and end use Verify the average value and carbon-chain distribution.
Cloud point °C Agree for the grade and end use State aqueous solution concentration and any solvent or salt system used.
Active matter % by mass Agree for the grade and end use Distinguish active matter from non-volatile content.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Choose drums for the liquid or paste state at the actual temperature. Confirm pumping conditions and net weight.

Storage and handling

Agree recovery conditions after cold exposure and evaluate sample and shipment appearance at the same temperature.

Sample and order lead times

Compare quotations by active matter, as-supplied net weight and packaging. State destination and receiving facilities and request MOQ, sample dispatch and commercial arrival dates.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Does the same AEO grade number guarantee interchangeability?

Check alcohol-chain composition and EO distribution. Retest cloud point and cleaning performance in the same water.

Does cloudiness in winter mean the material fails?

Record temperature history and appearance after equilibration. Retest against the grade TDS.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Average number of EO units, Cloud point, Active matter.
