01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Calcium fortification of beverages

At working acidity and calcium concentration, compare samples after cooling and standing and assess sensory performance.

Granular premixes

At equal calcium input, compare flow, fill uniformity and residue after reconstitution.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Calcium lactate product information ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Hydration state Identification result Request hydration state and elemental calcium assay. Check water of crystallisation together with the loss-on-drying method.
Elemental content mg/g as received Request the actual elemental assay for the lot. Specify the target element, digestion procedure and analytical method. Verify hydration state before converting from total salt mass.
Settling and redispersion Sediment height or turbidity Agree for the finished product Keep formulation, container, temperature, standing time and shaking procedure constant. Retain the comparison record.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

ENVO lists 25 kg fibre drums with PE inner bags. Confirm net weight, units per pallet and label revision.

Storage and handling

Specify hydrate and size grade on the bag or drum. Check retained material for agglomeration.

Sample and order lead times

State food category, sales market, pilot quantity and required arrival date. Confirm MOQ, batch documents, availability and remaining shelf life separately for samples and commercial orders.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why does a clear hot mix precipitate after cooling?

Compare cooling, standing and sensory performance at actual acidity and calcium concentration.

Why does calcium lactate dissolve in water but precipitate in a beverage?

Compare acidity, ionic background and cooling history. Run pure-water and formulation controls and retain the sediment.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Hydration state, Calcium content, dissolution conditions.
