Calcium and nitrogen stock solutions
Calculate the nutrient solution from measured soluble calcium as Ca or CaO and the individual nitrogen forms.
Separate stock tanks
At concentrated stock strength, test separately with phosphates and sulfates. Inspect the diluted final solution as well.
Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Require sealed moisture protection. Declare the actual nitrogen forms and water-soluble calcium, beyond the generic product name.
Storage and handling
Check storage, transport and segregation against the applicable SDS. Recheck as-received assay on deliquescent or caked lots.
Sample and order lead times
State trial use, application season and latest warehouse receipt. Confirm MOQ, dispatch point and expected arrival for samples, initial orders and peak-season replenishment.
Questions from the plant
Do similar total nitrogen values in calcium nitrate grades imply equal calcium?
Check the hydrate, double salt or formulation. Request calcium and individual nitrogen forms separately.
Does sediment in the mixing tank mean the raw material is insoluble?
Test a single-material solution, then compare the blend and source-water blank. Check where calcium meets phosphates or sulphates.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Water-soluble calcium, Nitrate and ammoniacal nitrogen, Water-insoluble matter.
