When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Have the supplier confirm compatibility of acid container and connection. Record the seal.
Storage and handling
Check concentration and route against the applicable SDS. Verify unloading equipment and emergency arrangements at destination.
Sample and order lead times
State the concentration or hydrate, initial net quantity, destination and unloading method. Confirm minimum order, pallet or truckload quantity, dispatch point and arrival date separately.
Questions from the plant
Why do acids of equal nominal strength give different surface results?
Check metal impurities, free acid and substrate condition. Review bath loading.
Can P₂O₅ and H₃PO₄ percentages be compared directly?
Agree a common chemical basis and mass fraction before comparing prices.
Report a delivery or batch issue
