01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Acid sodium salt formulations

Check dissolution over time at the target water temperature. Compare tartness at the same solids.

Instant dry mixes

Hold reconstitution temperature, water quantity and mixing time constant. Compare clarity and localized acidity.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Monosodium Fumarate product information ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
pH Dimensionless ENVO published specification 3.0–4.0 Test solution: 1.0 g per 30 mL. Also confirm water temperature and measurement method.
Titratable acidity As the specified acid Agree on the formulation target and test method. Record titration endpoint, sample concentration and conversion basis. Report pH separately.
Dissolution or dispersion behavior min or % residue Verify under the approved sample conditions Fix addition rate, water composition, agitation, temperature and standing time. Compare residue and precipitate.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

ENVO lists 1 kg bags or 25 kg drums. Confirm order-specific net weight, units per pallet and label revision.

Storage and handling

Match the label and COA to the monosodium salt, distinguishing it from the free acid and other sodium salts.

Sample and order lead times

State food category, sales market, pilot quantity and required arrival date. Confirm MOQ, batch documents, availability and remaining shelf life separately for samples and commercial orders.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

How should unstable finished acidity after a salt conversion be investigated?

Check the dissolution profile at the intended water temperature and compare sourness at equal solids.

Can monosodium fumarate be added at the same weight as free acid?

Calculate sodium and acid-equivalent contributions separately. Compare dissolution and final acidity in one formulation.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check salt form and sodium content, acidity, Solubility.
