01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Co-solvents in waterborne coatings

In the actual latex, test compatibility, leveling and low-temperature film formation.

Resin and ink solutions

At equal solids, check dissolution time, clarity and drying window.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Review these properties when selecting and inspecting incoming material. Example figures refer to the cited grade or source. Confirm the offered specification, packaging and lead time in the quotation. Jiangsu Dynamic Chemical · PM principal constituent and SDS ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Chemical identity Name and isomer Agree for the grade and end use List PM and PMA separately on the COA.
Moisture mg/kg Agree for the grade and end use Agree the sampling procedure and Karl Fischer method.
Nonvolatile matter mg/kg Agree for the grade and end use Use the residue requirement for the final substrate.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Mark the full ether or acetate name, grade and lot on each drum.

Storage and handling

Review the destination-specific SDS. Agree previous cargo, unloading and sample storage arrangements.

Sample and order lead times

State receiving tank capacity or required drum size, trial quantity and destination. Ask for sample carriage, commercial MOQ, packaging charge, availability and expected warehouse delivery date.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Are PM and PMA interchangeable because their abbreviations are similar?

Check functional groups and reactivity with the formulation. Repeat dissolution and film trials.

Why does a normally drying film turn white?

Compare water content, resin compatibility and film-forming conditions as well as boiling point.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Chemical identity, Moisture, Nonvolatile matter.
