When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
State water-soluble grade and the potassium and sulfur reporting bases. Require moisture-resistant liners and traceable lots.
Storage and handling
Recheck dissolution at the minimum use temperature on arrival. Pay particular attention to large agglomerates after storage.
Sample and order lead times
State trial use, application season and latest warehouse receipt. Confirm MOQ, dispatch point and expected arrival for samples, initial orders and peak-season replenishment.
Questions from the plant
Can granular potash fertiliser and soluble potassium sulphate share a specification?
Check insolubles, solubility and salt impurities separately against the filter aperture.
What if calcium and sulphur are both present at target levels but a precipitate forms?
Check local concentrations where stock solutions meet and review water quality. Prepare separately and verify under actual dilution conditions.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Water-soluble potassium (as K₂O), Sulfur, Chloride ion.
