01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Micronutrient stock solutions

Prepare a representative concentrate in actual irrigation water. Record pH, clarity on standing and soluble zinc.

Blended micronutrient fertilizers

Check the ligand and competing metal ions. At actual blend proportions, compare turbidity and precipitation.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. Nouryon · Salt forms and grades of chelated micronutrients ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Chelated zinc Mass fraction Specify on an elemental Zn basis. Report total zinc separately. Specify the analytical method and denominator used for the chelated fraction.
Total zinc Mass fraction as Zn Agree for the micronutrient grade supplied. Record separately from water-soluble zinc and chelated zinc.
Solution operating conditions pH range Review the stated conditions of use for this grade. Verify in the stock solution at the actual calcium concentration and with the other metals present.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Show elemental zinc, ligand and lot on the label. For solutions calculate separately from net weight and elemental zinc concentration.

Storage and handling

Confirm storage and solution-delivery conditions for the offered grade. For long-term retention record moisture, seal and environment.

Sample and order lead times

State trial use, application season and latest warehouse receipt. Confirm MOQ, dispatch point and expected arrival for samples, initial orders and peak-season replenishment.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why do products with equal declared zinc differ in solution stability?

Observe precipitation after mixing at actual water hardness, fertiliser concentration and pH.

Does a total zinc result prove EDTA chelation?

Request total zinc, chelated zinc and ligand identification methods. Match the reported sample to the bag label.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Total zinc, Chelated zinc, free ligand and applicable pH.
