01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Zinc-fortified beverages

At equal zinc, compare sensory properties, clarity and changes after packaged storage.

Low-dose zinc premixes

Use the actual carrier and filling cycle. Compare zinc content and astringency across multiple bags.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Zinc Gluconate product information ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Elemental zinc mg/g Request hydration state and as-received zinc content. Align the units and calculate the target zinc quantity from the same batch COA.
Dissolution or dispersion behavior min or % residue Verify under the approved sample conditions Fix addition rate, water composition, agitation, temperature and standing time. Compare residue and precipitate.
Sensory assessment Approved sample assessment Agree a reference sample and acceptable difference. Keep formulation, temperature, sample concentration and blind assessment order constant. Test alongside the approved reference.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

ENVO lists 25 kg fibre drums with PE inner bags. Confirm net weight, units per pallet and label revision.

Storage and handling

Identify hydrates, pure salts and diluted grades separately. Check the lot on every pack.

Sample and order lead times

State food category, sales market, pilot quantity and required arrival date. Confirm MOQ, batch documents, availability and remaining shelf life separately for samples and commercial orders.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why did switching zinc salts introduce astringency or cloudiness?

At equal zinc content, compare sensory properties, clarity and change during packaged storage.

Why test the flavour base if the salt dissolves clearly in water?

Keep zinc constant and compare turbidity and astringency at the different formulation pH values and after heating and chilling.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Elemental zinc, hydrated form, Solubility.
