Replacing magnesium sulfate
Trial at equal magnesium. Adjust nitrate nitrogen and sulfur and verify the nutrient balance of the full formulation.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Check the moisture-barrier liner and bag label. Obtain the SDS and transport documents for the proposed product.
Storage and handling
Check temperature, segregation and moisture control against the grade requirements. Handle torn bags separately.
Sample and order lead times
State trial use, application season and latest warehouse receipt. Confirm MOQ, dispatch point and expected arrival for samples, initial orders and peak-season replenishment.
Questions from the plant
Can magnesium nitrate replace magnesium sulphate at the same total magnesium?
Sulphur and nitrate nitrogen contributions differ. Recalculate them together with the other nutrient sources.
Why can stock concentration be low after hot, humid storage?
Check moisture uptake through the packaging and the weighing basis. Compare batch moisture and elemental results.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Water-soluble magnesium (as MgO), Nitrate nitrogen, Water-insoluble matter.
