Set up the comparison

Compare fibre methods and their reporting bases before calculating the solids needed for the target fibre contribution. Check clarity, sweetness and storage behaviour separately.

Measurements to record

Dietary fiber (g/100 g). Confirm wet or dry basis and the low-molecular-weight fractions covered by the method. Calculate fibre per serving accordingly. Residual sugar profile (% on a dry basis). Confirm the components measured and the peak integration method. Relate the result to the moisture of the goods received. Record the sample ID and method revision for repeat testing.

Interpreting the results

Align dry basis and analytical coverage, then compare the sugar profile, source and actual solids of the two materials.
