Identify physical form, test basis and lot on the specification and check main salt, chlorate and chloride separately. A liquid grade’s density or volume concentration cannot establish acceptance of a solid lot.

Recording NaClO₂ assay

NaClO₂ assay (Mass fraction): ENVO published powder grade ≥80.0%. Verify the solid form and batch report on receipt. List chlorate separately. Sodium chlorate (Mass fraction): ENVO published 80% powder ≤4.0%. Confirm the result is expressed as NaClO₃ on an as-received basis.

Can a liquid-grade COA support a solid order?

Request the batch report for the solid grade. Check its assay, impurity limits and packaging identity independently. Industrial oxidant review: Specify solid assay, chlorate and particle size. Verify end-use authorization and the applicable SDS.
