01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Specifying amino acid stereochemistry

Require the label and analytical method to identify the same stereoisomer as the buyer’s end-use documentation.

Premix powder feeding

After stereochemistry is accepted, evaluate particle size, flow and filling uniformity using the target carrier.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Alanine product information ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Stereochemistry Chiral identification Confirm L, D or DL form. Compare against a reference or under agreed optical rotation conditions. Record sample temperature and solvent.
Principal component assay % by mass Request the grade specification and lot result Identify the analyte, dry or as-received basis and method. Do not substitute a theoretical conversion for an incoming release result.
Particle size distribution µm or % sieve residue Specify for the feed system State sieve opening and percentage passing. For fine or agglomerated material, specify dispersion and sieving procedures.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

ENVO lists 25 kg fibre drums. Confirm order-specific net weight, units per pallet and label revision.

Storage and handling

Assign separate stock codes to the specified stereochemical forms. Match the label to the sample and the commercial lot COA.

Sample and order lead times

State food category, sales market, pilot quantity and required arrival date. Confirm MOQ, batch documents, availability and remaining shelf life separately for samples and commercial orders.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

What if an order for “alanine” leaves stereochemistry unspecified?

Align the configuration on the label, in the identity method and in the buyer’s use documents.

Can an L-form report be applied to a material labelled only Alanine?

Match the batch label, configuration declaration and test method before accepting the sample.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check isomer, optical rotation or chiral identification, Dry-basis assay.
