When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Confirm granule or crystal form, process origin and surface treatment. Match packaging to the equipment.
Storage and handling
Keep dry. For discoloured or caked lots check raw material origin and insolubles.
Sample and order lead times
State trial use, application season and latest warehouse receipt. Confirm MOQ, dispatch point and expected arrival for samples, initial orders and peak-season replenishment.
Questions from the plant
Can ammonium sulphate and urea be charged identically as nitrogen sources?
They contribute different nitrogen forms and sulphur. Recalculate the nitrogen–sulphur balance and assess the matrix response.
Can a by-product grade be accepted on nitrogen assay alone?
Confirm process origin, colour and controlled impurities. Include a separate filtration check.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Ammoniacal nitrogen, Sulfur, Water-insoluble matter.
