When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Identify sodium tetraborate and hydrate on the label. Check bag seal and match the lot to the COA.
Storage and handling
After transit check deliquescence, efflorescence and fines. Recalculate boron content on an as-received basis.
Sample and order lead times
State trial use, application season and latest warehouse receipt. Confirm MOQ, dispatch point and expected arrival for samples, initial orders and peak-season replenishment.
Questions from the plant
Can boron be calculated from a package labelled only “borax”?
Request the specific hydrate, measured boron and analytical basis. Distinguish tetraborate from other borates.
What should we compare if sodium is restricted?
Compare sodium load, pH and compatibility with other acceptable boron sources at equal boron contribution.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Elemental boron, Hydration state, Sodium content.
