01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Low-temperature cable jackets

Use the current resin and test bending, impact and cracking at the intended service temperature.

Low-temperature hoses and elastomers

Compare cold flexibility and hardness retention after heat aging. Check extraction by the intended contact medium.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS) catalogue and specifications ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Density at 20 °C g/cm³ ENVO published specification 0.913–0.919 Test at the same temperature and verify against ester composition and the supplier’s COA.
Mass loss on heating % by mass ENVO published value ≤0.2 Two hours at 125 °C. Use the same test portion mass and container.
Low-temperature bend result °C and pass/fail Agree for the actual flexible finished product. Specify specimen thickness, precooling method and bend criterion.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Public information lists 200 kg drums and IBCs. Verify the ester and suitable contact materials.

Storage and handling

Check previous cargo in the line, unloading method and container residue. Record lot and sample temperature.

Sample and order lead times

State the finished part, machine trial quantity and routine order size. Match trial and commercial grades and agree MOQ, load unit, lead-time start and arrival.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why can a part pass room-temperature hardness but crack in cold bending?

Test the part at the lowest intended service temperature and check the effect of heat ageing.

Can a part that passes initial cold bending harden after ageing?

Heat-age the same specimen as agreed, then repeat cold bending and measure weight loss to distinguish initial performance from durability.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check ester composition, low-temperature test method, Acid value.
