01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

High-umami seasoning powders

At equal MSG and salt levels, run a blind trial on an equal active basis. Verify origin documentation.

Soup and low-salt formulations

At fixed MSG and salt, compare soups with equal active nucleotides. Retain samples before and after heating.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Disodium 5′-Ribonucleotides (I+G) product information ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
IMP-to-GMP ratio % ENVO published range: 48.0–52.0% each. Confirm how wet basis, dry basis and blend ratio are calculated before checking the two components.
Nucleotide assay % on a dry basis ENVO published specification 98.0–102.0% State the IMP:GMP ratio and recalculate the active quantity on an as-received basis.
Moisture % by mass Agree for the specific grade Specify the water test, sampling and sealing conditions. Interpret water content and loss on drying separately.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

ENVO lists 1 kg bags and 25 kg bags or drums. Confirm net weight, units per pallet and label revision.

Storage and handling

Check the blend ratio and moisture basis on the label. Distinguish individual IMP or GMP from a blend.

Sample and order lead times

State food category, sales market, pilot quantity and required arrival date. Confirm MOQ, batch documents, availability and remaining shelf life separately for samples and commercial orders.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why can blends differ in umami strength and cost?

Blind-test equal active amounts at the same MSG and salt levels. Verify origin documentation.

Can two I+G offers be compared by tonne price?

Calculate cost per kilogram of active nucleotides from separate IMP and GMP assays and actual dry matter. Then compare sensory performance.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check IMP-to-GMP ratio, dry-basis nucleotide content, Moisture.
