Low-inclusion premix feeding
At the actual batch size, record low-dose weighing variation. Compare samples taken at different discharge times.
Pelleted compound feed
Normalize threonine assay first. Compare particle-size compatibility with the current material and residue after unloading.
Purchase specifications and incoming inspection
Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. Evonik · ThreAMINO granular product listing ↗
| Property | Unit | Published or agreed specification | Test conditions and checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| L-Threonine | Mass fraction | Evonik ThreAMINO granular example: 98.5%. | Request a COA for the offered grade and confirm dry or as-received basis. |
| Particle size distribution | µm / % | Specify the sieve. | Report the fraction retained on each sieve and include the particle-size record for the intended carrier. |
| Bulk density | kg/m³ | Use the agreed incoming material specification. | State whether the result is loose or tapped and match the method to on-site metering. |
When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
Chemical identity
| Database entry | Molecular or composition formula | Molar mass |
|---|---|---|
| L-Threonine | C4H9NO3 | 119.12 g/mol |
The values refer to the compound indicated. Confirm hydrate form, solution concentration and blend composition for the commercial grade.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
State L-threonine, lot and net weight on the bag. Request form, net pallet weight and delivery arrangements for the full lot.
Storage and handling
Record sieving and bulk density at sample receipt. Confirm dosing consistency using the same method for the retained and commercial material.
Sample and order lead times
State premix or pelleting trial size, replenishment quantity and receiving warehouse. Confirm MOQ, preparation time and plant arrival separately for samples, pallets and split orders.
Questions from the plant
Why can accurate weighing at low inclusion still give uneven mixing?
Prepare a premix with a compatible carrier, test multiple locations and assess lot consistency.
Why do multi-position premix results scatter when incoming assay passes?
Check weighing repeatability, size mismatch with the carrier, addition order and sample positions. Compare with the current grade at equal batch size.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check L-threonine assay, Stereochemistry, particle size and bulk density.
