When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Mark monohydrate, heptahydrate or other form and state the magnesium reporting basis.
Storage and handling
Keep sealed. Inspect for salt precipitation, moisture or caking and retest on an as-received basis.
Sample and order lead times
State trial use, application season and latest warehouse receipt. Confirm MOQ, dispatch point and expected arrival for samples, initial orders and peak-season replenishment.
Questions from the plant
Does one kilogram of heptahydrate provide the same magnesium as monohydrate?
Convert using the actual as-received lot result for Mg or MgO before comparing tonne prices.
Does caking at dispatch establish a loss of effective magnesium?
Distinguish crystal changes from absorbed moisture. Verify hydrate form, assay and dissolution.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Water-soluble magnesium, Hydration state, Sulfur.
