Reviewing preservation of the food surface
Verify local permission and the treatment location on the food. Validate with the target packaging and surface conditions.
Comparing formulation carriers
Evaluate only the foods and surfaces permitted in the market. At equal active addition, compare surface distribution, appearance and quality results.
Purchase specifications and incoming inspection
Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Natamycin product information ↗
| Property | Unit | Published or agreed specification | Test conditions and checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Active matter content | % by mass | Request the active content of the actual formulation. | Identify the neat substance or carrier-based preparation. Total product weight is not active ingredient weight. |
| Carrier-to-active ratio | % by mass | Confirm for the proposed formulation | List carriers and proportions, the basis for active content and the corresponding test report. |
| End-use and label review | Documentation | Review by product category and destination market. | Check uses, restrictions and labelling under the relevant jurisdiction’s current rules. Link the review record to the formula version. |
When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
ENVO lists 25 kg drums. Confirm order-specific net weight, units per pallet and label revision.
Storage and handling
Check light-resistant packaging, carrier declaration and active content. Follow handling and storage conditions for the grade.
Sample and order lead times
State food category, sales market, pilot quantity and required arrival date. Confirm MOQ, batch documents, availability and remaining shelf life separately for samples and commercial orders.
Questions from the plant
Does the preparation weight equal the active amount of natamycin?
Confirm market authorisation and treatment site. Validate under the intended surface and packing conditions.
Can the original gram-based formulation be retained with a different carrier?
Convert using measured active content. Review carrier, allergens and treatment site, then verify distribution.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Active matter content, carrier and dispersion method, permitted end-use scope.
