01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Laundry powder builders

At actual hardness and wash cycle, compare cleaning and residual calcium.

Granular detergents

Check particle uniformity, finished-powder flow and powder residue on fabric.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Review these properties for the intended application grade. Example figures refer to the cited grade or source. Confirm the offered specification, packaging and lead time in the quotation. Grupo IQE Siolite · Detergent zeolite 4A ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Calcium exchange capacity mg CaO/g Agree for the grade and end use State dry basis, temperature and contact time.
Particle size distribution µm Agree for the grade and end use Describe dispersion conditions and the coarse end of the particle distribution.
Moisture % by mass Agree for the grade and end use Test at the temperature and for the duration agreed by both parties.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Use moisture-resistant bags and confirm net weight, size and dust controls. Distinguish detergent powder from adsorbent desiccant.

Storage and handling

Retain a representative sample of the complete lot and state the moisture basis. Compare cost on an active dry basis.

Sample and order lead times

State the concentration or hydrate, initial net quantity, destination and unloading method. Confirm minimum order, pallet or truckload quantity, dispatch point and arrival date separately.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why is soil removal poor despite high exchange capacity?

Check exchange rate within the short wash cycle, calcium-to-magnesium ratio and surfactant system.

Why are white spots left on dark fabrics?

Check coarse particles, powder dispersion and rinse count. Include a blank fabric.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Calcium exchange capacity, Particle size distribution, Moisture.
