01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Tire compound vulcanization

Fix sulfur and other accelerators. Compare scorch time, optimum cure time and torque development.

Extruded rubber hoses and belts

At the actual mixing temperature, compare scorch safety after storage and finished-part properties.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO · Rubber Accelerator MBTS (DM) catalogue and specifications ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Initial melting point °C ENVO published high grade ≥170, first grade ≥166, standard grade ≥162 Fix the grade before agreeing the initial melting point method.
Cure characteristics min Agree against the approved compound’s cure curve. State temperature and t90 criterion and monitor torque.
Sieve residue % by mass Specify the powder form and buyer’s sieve aperture. Specify mesh or aperture and dry or wet sieving conditions.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Published powder packaging is 25 kg bags. Check for a flow aid or carrier and confirm the corresponding active content.

Storage and handling

Check caking and sieve residue on receipt. Control blend lots and retain samples to recheck the cure curve.

Sample and order lead times

State the finished part, machine trial quantity and routine order size. Match trial and commercial grades and agree MOQ, load unit, lead-time start and arrival.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why did changing accelerator shift the cure time?

Hold the compound formulation constant and compare cure curves, scorch time and mechanical properties.

Why does scorch time vary at equal MBTS addition?

Check active content, dispersion and mixing temperature. Run each cure curve in the same base compound.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Assay, Melting range, Sieve residue.
