01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Cotton desizing

Use the same greige fabric lot. Check residual starch and absorbency before and after treatment.

Continuous-line compatibility

At actual residence time and water quality, check how evenly residual size is removed.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Review these properties for the intended application grade. Example figures refer to the cited grade or source. Confirm the offered specification, packaging and lead time in the quotation. CHT BEISOL T 2090 · Amylase for removing starch size ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Enzyme activity Method units/g or method units/mL Agree for the grade and end use Specify substrate, pH, temperature and the definition of the activity unit.
Operating conditions pH and °C Agree for the grade and end use Check the effective operating window in the grade TDS.
Residual size rating Grade or % Agree for the grade and end use Define the sampling location and test method.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Quote liquid and granules on enzyme activity. Ship sealed and control dust and aerosols as required by the SDS.

Storage and handling

State transit temperature range, remaining activity on receipt and remaining shelf life in the enquiry.

Sample and order lead times

Compare quotations by active matter, as-supplied net weight and packaging. State destination and receiving facilities and request MOQ, sample dispatch and commercial arrival dates.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why does cloth repel water after passing the iodine test?

Check non-starch size and residual oil or wax. Run a separate absorbency test.

Why is desizing incomplete on the continuous line after a successful beaker trial?

Check fabric wetting, actual dwell and temperature. Retain samples from different positions.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Enzyme activity, Operating conditions, Residual size rating.
