How should quotations for the two zinc sulfate hydrates be compared?

Total zinc, water-soluble zinc and commercial hydrate weight are different bases. A clear dilute solution does not establish stock compatibility.

Normalize price to water-soluble zinc, then test concentrated stock

Use incoming water-soluble zinc to calculate unit cost. Test alongside other nutrients at the actual stock concentration, including cooling, standing and filtration. Evaluate against transport and storage conditions.

Converting a tonne price to water-soluble zinc cost

At CNY 3,000 per tonne and 30% measured water-soluble zinc as received, one tonne supplies 300 kg of water-soluble zinc at CNY 10 per kilogram. If the other COA reports total zinc, obtain water-soluble zinc data before comparing.

Does a clear spray solution establish compatibility in concentrated stock?

Repeat at the actual stock concentration and minimum water temperature, taking source-water alkalinity into account. Zinc in drip fertigation: At actual water quality and stock concentration, check dissolution and precipitation after storage. Solid fertilizer blending: Select the zinc content and particle grade. Simulate transport and check zinc distribution at different positions.

Checking Water-soluble zinc and Hydration state

Water-soluble zinc (% by mass): State whether the result is Zn, soluble Zn or salt content. Use the actual received lot for conversion. Hydration state (Identity and moisture (%)): Specify the precise hydrate and analytical basis. Apply limits for the relevant salt form only. Water-insoluble matter (% by mass): Agree water temperature, sample-to-water ratio, filter medium and the drying and weighing procedure. Test compatibility separately with site water.
