Can two stabilized grades at the same concentration be exchanged?
An arrival sample and a dispatch COA alone cannot distinguish a real concentration change from different sampling times or methods. Stabilizers may also differ by grade.
Put the analytical results on the transit timeline
Align seal, transit duration, temperature and analysis records. Have a qualified laboratory retest the retained and arrival samples by the same method before assessing stability or compatibility.
How should a lower result on arrival be investigated?
Compare transit duration, environmental conditions and sampling method. Use a same-lot retain to distinguish transit change from measurement differences. Industrial water oxidation: Under the approved project conditions, compare target contaminant removal and residual oxidant. Textile or pulp bleaching: Hold substrate and existing process fixed. Compare whiteness, damage and lot concentration.
Checking Hydrogen peroxide assay and Stability
Hydrogen peroxide assay (% by mass): Specify the assay required on receipt and when the sample is taken. Stability (% retained): Agree the test temperature, duration, container and decision criteria. Metal impurities (mg/kg): List the elements to control according to stability and sensitivity of the intended application.
