Coagulation and flocculation / ENVO-A002

Polyferric sulfate

Product family

Review iron content, basicity and physical form together. Color alone does not identify a suitable polyferric sulfate grade.

01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Industrial wastewater coagulation

Record raw-water pH and turbidity. Compare floc settling and filtration resistance.

Chemical phosphorus removal

At equal active iron, compare treated-water phosphorus and sludge volume.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Use these properties to compare grades within the product family. Example figures refer to the cited grade or source. Confirm the offered specification, packaging and lead time in the quotation. Guangrui · Liquid polyferric sulfate product information ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Total iron % by mass Confirm against the offered grade and purchase specification Distinguish solid from liquid products and use an as-received basis.
Basicity % Confirm against the offered grade and purchase specification Require the method to be reported. Basicity and iron content are separate parameters.
Insoluble matter % by mass Confirm against the offered grade and purchase specification Specify the filtration and weighing procedures.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Check solid bag liner and caking. For liquids, agree container capacity, net weight and sediment acceptance.

Storage and handling

Request storage conditions and the retest procedure for unusual sediment. Keep an unopened lot sample.

Sample and order lead times

State treatment scale, trial quantity and acceptable packaging. Request minimum quantities, preparation times and arrival dates for lab samples, pilot lots and routine replenishment.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

How can powder and liquid PFS quotations be compared?

Convert to the same total iron basis and account for on-site preparation and receiving requirements.

Does equal iron content remove the need for a change-of-grade trial?

Use current raw water and equal settling time. Compare flocculation behaviour, pH and residual iron.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Total iron, Basicity, Insoluble matter.
