01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Particle dispersion in recirculating water

At equal hardness and suspended solids loading, compare deposition and filtration.

Mineral slurry dispersion

Keep slurry solids and shear fixed. Compare viscosity and settling on standing.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Use these properties to compare grades within the product family. Example figures refer to the cited grade or source. Confirm the offered specification, packaging and lead time in the quotation. Taihe · Sodium polyacrylate uses and forms ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Polymer solids % by mass Taihe PAAS liquid grade example ≥30%, ≥40% or ≥45% Select the specific commercial concentration and compare using the same drying method.
Average molecular weight g/mol Confirm against the offered grade and purchase specification State the averaging convention, method and calibration basis.
Viscosity mPa·s Confirm against the offered grade and purchase specification Specify concentration, temperature and shear conditions.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Check drum material, net weight and pumping conditions for solution. Check liner and particle size for powder.

Storage and handling

Agree appearance and viscosity retest conditions for the grade after low-temperature transport.

Sample and order lead times

State treatment scale, trial quantity and acceptable packaging. Request minimum quantities, preparation times and arrival dates for lab samples, pilot lots and routine replenishment.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Can PAAS grades be converted using solids alone?

Check molecular weight and degree of neutralisation. Compare dispersion with the same water sample.

Can a superabsorbent sodium polyacrylate be used in a circulating-water system?

Verify water solubility, crosslinking status and stated use before considering substitution.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Polymer solids, Average molecular weight, Viscosity.
