01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

High-hardness recirculating water

At actual calcium and alkalinity, compare scale inhibition. Record turbidity and deposition endpoints.

Oilfield water treatment

Compare compatibility and precipitation in representative formation water at target temperature. Specify acid or sodium salt.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. Shandong Taihe · DTPMPA acid and its water treatment applications ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Active acid Mass fraction Request separate limits for the acid or salt. Report DTPMPA-equivalent content separately from solids and check the analytical basis.
Iron mg/kg Set the upper limit for the intended application. Verify the as-received result as Fe and the quantification limit.
Solution pH Dimensionless Specify for the acid or sodium salt grade. Record the sample concentration and temperature. Keep diluted and stock solution results separate.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

List active acid concentration, container and net weight separately. For dosing-pump installations, check connections and density.

Storage and handling

Verify salt form and documentation at handover. Check container residues and iron contamination before customer trials.

Sample and order lead times

State treatment scale, trial quantity and acceptable packaging. Request minimum quantities, preparation times and arrival dates for lab samples, pilot lots and routine replenishment.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Why do products with the same abbreviation give different pH and solids?

Compare scale control in actual concentrated water. Record metal loading and reporting basis.

Can DTPMP and its sodium salt be substituted at equal concentration?

Confirm neutralisation state, active-acid equivalent, sodium contribution and pH. Verify compatibility in the original formulation.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check salt form, active acid equivalent, Iron content.
