Filter cartridge media replacement
Confirm sphere diameter, filled volume, actual flow and water temperature. Record the release curve under representative conditions.
Industrial piping trials
Track feedwater hardness, residence time and deposits. Inspect media surfaces and wear.
Purchase specifications and incoming inspection
Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. ENVO public product information · Verify against the ordered grade and lot ↗
| Property | Unit | Published or agreed specification | Test conditions and checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Particle size distribution | mm | Specify the filter cartridge and sieve requirements. | Specify upper and lower limits and the allowable broken fraction. Retain sampling photographs. |
| Composition and grade | Composition statement | Confirm the supplier formulation and actual end use. | Request the main components and applicable water conditions. Do not derive a chemical formula from a trade name. |
| Release profile | Concentration versus time or water throughput | Specify the target flow, water temperature and cartridge. | State the measured property and equipment conditions and compare full curves. |
When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
The listing specifies 25 kg lined bags or 20 kg cartons. Confirm composition, bead diameter and protection against breakage.
Storage and handling
Inspect size and broken fraction on receipt. Use intact beads from a documented lot for release testing.
Sample and order lead times
State treatment scale, trial quantity and acceptable packaging. Request minimum quantities, preparation times and arrival dates for lab samples, pilot lots and routine replenishment.
Questions from the plant
Why can replacement media fit the cartridge but release differently?
Provide water temperature, flow and contact time. Evaluate the intended use by testing the outlet water.
Can same-size media keep the existing cartridge replacement interval?
Compare formulation, release and depletion profiles at actual flow and temperature. Check drinking-water documentation separately where applicable.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check composition statement, Particle size range, release curve.
