When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Check container and transport packaging for the concentration. Agree the unloading point and connection in writing.
Storage and handling
Qualified site staff should confirm testing and unloading against the concentration-specific SDS. Link sampling records to seal numbers.
Sample and order lead times
State the concentration or hydrate, initial net quantity, destination and unloading method. Confirm minimum order, pallet or truckload quantity, dispatch point and arrival date separately.
Questions from the plant
Can identical tonnes of hydrochloric and sulphuric acid be interchanged?
Recalculate acid equivalents and accompanying ions. Check materials compatibility and verify under actual operating conditions.
Does a darker incoming acid mean lower acid strength?
Measure assay and relevant impurities and review container history. Colour alone does not support release.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check Sulfuric acid content, Iron, Nonvolatile residue.
