01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

High-calcium cooling water

Record calcium hardness, alkalinity, temperature and evaluation time when comparing deposit control.

Chelation in cleaning formulations

At actual formulation pH and target ion concentrations, assess initial clarity and precipitation after storage.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. Shandong Taihe · PBTC product and evaluation criteria for water treatment ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
Active component Mass fraction Agree for the offered PBTC grade. State whether the value refers to the acid molecule or sodium salt. Record solution density separately.
Aqueous solution pH Dimensionless Specify the test concentration and temperature. State whether the sample was used as supplied or specify its dilution.
Calcium tolerance mg/L or agreed method Set the acceptance criterion for the operating conditions. Specify Ca or CaCO₃ as the reporting basis and record pH and observation time.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Specify PBTC acid solution or neutralised product, net weight, concentration, tank material and unloading requirements.

Storage and handling

If appearance changes in transit, check temperature, seals and container cleanliness. Use a retained sample from the same lot to reassess compatibility.

Sample and order lead times

State treatment scale, trial quantity and acceptable packaging. Request minimum quantities, preparation times and arrival dates for lab samples, pilot lots and routine replenishment.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Do results from ordinary water apply at high calcium levels?

Include target hardness, temperature and cycles of concentration in the trial.

Can suppliers be ranked by their stated calcium tolerance?

Align hardness, pH, temperature and the time used to assess turbidity. Verify the ranking using site water.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check active ingredient, calcium tolerance test conditions, Solution pH.
