Clear high-fiber beverages
At target beverage concentration and sterilization conditions, compare viscosity, clarity and measured dietary fiber.
Instant fiber sachets
Rehydrate at the target water temperature. Check lumps and turbidity and compare grades by measured fiber per serving.
Purchase specifications and incoming inspection
Include the intended grade or current specification in the enquiry. Use the table to compare selection criteria and inspection conditions. The specification agreed by both parties defines the contractual limits. Roquette · NUTRIOSE soluble fiber in a powdered drink ↗
| Property | Unit | Published or agreed specification | Test conditions and checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dietary fiber | g/100 g | Request the proposed grade and test method. | Confirm wet or dry basis and the low-molecular-weight fractions covered by the method. Calculate fibre per serving accordingly. |
| Residual sugar profile | % on a dry basis | List individual monosaccharides and disaccharides. | Confirm the components measured and the peak integration method. Relate the result to the moisture of the goods received. |
| Settling and redispersion | Sediment height or turbidity | Agree for the finished product | Keep formulation, container, temperature, standing time and shaking procedure constant. Retain the comparison record. |
When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Request photographs of the proposed inner bag or container, unit weight and closure. Match the lot on the inner and outer packs.
Storage and handling
Confirm powder source, inner-bag seal and size grade. Check dietary fibre documentation for the customer’s market.
Sample and order lead times
State food category, sales market, pilot quantity and required arrival date. Confirm MOQ, batch documents, availability and remaining shelf life separately for samples and commercial orders.
Questions from the plant
How can fibre percentages reported by different methods be compared?
Use the target beverage concentration and heat treatment to compare viscosity, clarity and fibre on an agreed analytical basis.
Does a different fibre assay prove that a batch contains more added sugar?
Check the method and dry basis first. Then compare sugar profile, source and actual solids.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check fiber assay method, raw material source, color and turbidity.
Request documents for your application

For grade selection and sample approval, specify the grade and revision required.
SDS · Safety data sheet
Specify the country or region of use and the required language.
COA · Certificate of analysis
Request a sample COA during supplier review. For incoming inspection, provide the actual lot number.
