When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.
From samples to commercial delivery
Packaging and receiving
Confirm powder or formulated grade, net weight and contamination-resistant liner.
Storage and handling
Follow the grade TDS for storage. Retain traceable samples and standard plaques of equal thickness.
Sample and order lead times
State the finished part, machine trial quantity and routine order size. Match trial and commercial grades and agree MOQ, load unit, lead-time start and arrival.
Questions from the plant
Do matching absorber peaks guarantee the same weathering performance?
Thickness, resin and other additives also matter. Check actual finished-part ageing results.
How can a combination with HALS be justified?
Test the absorber alone, HALS alone and the combination in the same resin against the target endpoint.
Report a delivery or batch issue
Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check UV-531 assay, Absorption spectrum, Volatility or migration.
