01 / Applications and trials

Plan a trial for your application

Dietary amino acid balance

Have the nutrition team calculate requirements for the species and basal diet and assess effects of substitution on other amino acids.

Low-inclusion premixes

Prepare a staged dilution first. Take samples at different discharge positions and assay actual content.

02 / Quality and acceptance

Purchase specifications and incoming inspection

Review these properties when selecting and inspecting incoming material. Example figures refer to the cited grade or source. Confirm the offered specification, packaging and lead time in the quotation. CJ BIO BestAmino · L-amino acids for feed ↗

Property Unit Published or agreed specification Test conditions and checks
L-Tryptophan % as received Confirm for the proposed grade and project Use an analytical method specific to the L-amino acid. State whether the result is expressed as free base, salt or as-received product.
Stereochemistry Identification result Confirm for the proposed grade and project Request identity evidence for the L configuration or the specified optical rotation conditions, matched to the sample lot.
Particle size µm / % sieve residue Confirm for the proposed grade and project Report sieve apertures and percentage passing. Make a composite sample from different bag positions and distinguish lumps from primary particles.

When approving a sample, record the grade, methods, limits and specification revision. On receipt, match the packing lot number to the lot-specific COA and record the measured values and release decision.

03 / Packaging and delivery

From samples to commercial delivery

Packaging and receiving

Mark L-tryptophan and matching lot numbers on inner bags and cartons. Choose pack units to suit workshop use.

Storage and handling

Receive against TDS sealed-storage conditions. Compare any colour or moisture change with the retained sample.

Sample and order lead times

State premix or pelleting trial size, replenishment quantity and receiving warehouse. Confirm MOQ, preparation time and plant arrival separately for samples, pallets and split orders.

04 / Troubleshooting

Questions from the plant

Does total nitrogen on the COA establish L-tryptophan content?

Request a tryptophan-specific amino acid analysis and stereochemical identification with the reporting basis.

How can we trace variability in bulk mixing?

Check lot particle size and premix sequence. Compare tryptophan at several positions against a retained sample.

Report a delivery or batch issue

Include the order number, lot number from the package, label photos and inspection records for the affected lot. When retesting, check L-Tryptophan, Stereochemistry, Particle size.
